From the Manifesto of Mladi forum SD

„Mladi forum of Social Democrats (Mladi forum SD) is a modern social democratic youth movement, whose view of the world is based on the values of freedom of every individual; solidarity as a foundation of social integration, equal rights of all people, especially equal rights of genders; tolerance towards differences; internationalism and the right to security in all of its forms. Mladi forum follows these views by implementing its policies and activity in local, regional, national and international levels. We are a Slovene socialist youth movement and a prominent member of the family of European and global socialist youth.

Who are searching for happiness in every moment and joy in every human being. Who accept diversity and are not afraid of non-understanding and opposition. Who know no enemies and do not divide themselves to red and black, left and right, cowboys and Indians, ours and theirs, religious and non-religious, but wish to enter a new millennium with peaceful cohabitation of everyone. Who do not accept artificial divisions, because the world is not black and white, but colourful. Who understand politics as the art of dealing with people’s emotions and feeling and are thus not afraid of their own emotions. Who reject all kinds of violence and do not impose their opinion to others. Who…"

Mladi forum SD is a youth, political and non-governmental organisation. A youth organisation, because it consists of young people between the ages of 15 and 32.  A political organisation, because it is a youth organisation of a political party and wants to be constructively involved in the shaping of political space. And it is a non-governmental organisation, as it is not a part of governmental structures and acts within the civil society with independence and autonomy.
