Sinistra
Giovanile is a youth socialist organization arising from the meeting
and union of different organizations, movements and individuals that
want to work together to renovate Left political culture.
Members of Sinistra Giovanile share some basic values: freedom and
equality, equity and solidarity, religious freedom, respect of
differences and sexual genders.
Sinistra Giovanile’s roots have to be found in the experience of labour and socialist movement, of European and World Left, of Resistance and Antifascist movement, in the original heritage of Italian Comunism, of democratic and social Catholicism, in the laical culture, in the feminist, ecologist and peace movement.
Members of Sinistra Giovanile share common principles and aims: they work for the defence and the dignity of every kind of work, for the broading of social and political representation, against social, cultural and ecological poverty, for an inclusive way of politics, for a sustainable development, a multiethnic and multicultural society.
